Blue Ribbon Acres is a boutique boarding spa which opened in Lovettsville in April 2009 at a new facility with just twenty eight dog-friendly runs and acres of beautiful, secure, open spaces for supervised play. The business, formerly located in Strasburg, Virginia, was moved and relocated on property with owner, Jennifer Donnelly.

Today, Blue Ribbon Acres is a full service canine boarding facility. We offer daily exercise, holistic & natural diets, training and a whole lot of love. When your dogs stays with us, we make sure that they are having fun and getting the exercise they need.

Jennifer Donnelly is a nationally acclaimed breeder of Bernese Mountain Dogs and Clumber Spaniels as well as an experienced dog trainer. She has more than 25 years of breeding, training and raising dogs. When her dogs are not showing in the breed or performance rings, they may be seen on her property. • Dogs are exercised outdoors six to seven times each day, in small groups of 3-4 dogs only as appropriate.
